I don't think chirping and whistling occasionally counts as weird.
Also, I saw another bird doing the running back and forth thing. I don't think they have anything else better to do in a cage.

i guess they inhabitate well in a warm climate
my dog licks doors and floors when he's hungry :/ Is that normal? he also eats rugs. But as for a bird that likes his cage? thats weird in my book. every bird I've ever seen would kill to get out.
