You just became my new favorite flash artist because of this. What pissed me off was not that the Dragonballs were created by Kami or that Goku was a kid or that anything that has Evolution on it is expected to sell well or that Fox is hell bent on raping our favorite animes (4Kids much, ya guys?!) No. None of that bothered me... It's the fact that YOU DON'T DO THE KAMEHAMEHA WITH ONE DAMN HAND! NO! It's the two! That's what made it fun to do when you were a kid! That's why it was copied into a Mega Man video game! Because you do it with two hands! WHY IN THE HOLY HELL WOULD THIS BE ALLOWED TO SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY! This is worse than the first one! IT IS! Why? Because when you know better, you do better! Atleast the first one was kinda based off of it! And Krillin! He's comedy relief! Where the hell is he?! And you know the sad part? The really really REALLY said part? Little kids, who don't remember or probably never even seen a DB episode are going to think this is the coolest thing ever. Thank you, Fox. You are the assholes of television and movies. Someone please hand them the award NOW. Damn... And what makes it worse is that this could have been a contender (No Rocky references please). We could have seen all the major story arcs come to life. Imagine Broly on the big screen. Goku going super sayian. Cooler, Cell, or even Buu. But no, one of two things will happen: (1) this sells well, and they crap out another horrible movie or (2) We have to wait another twenty to thirty years for a better one. Come on now... We managed to get The Hulk, Spider-Man, and Batman right (especially The Dark Knight). Can we please get some damn decent live action anime movies done right?! That's it and all, I'm outie...

I might be asking for too much, but can't producers just restrain from making movies with real actors about flying aliens with spiky hair shooting energy balls and some weird laser beams. I liked Dragonballs when I was about 10 years old and even then I thought such a movie would suck (I wasn't yet able to say it in another language than French, but that doesn't matter baguette fromage bonjour monsieur ooh lala).
I was reading the FAQ section of that website and apparently FOX plans on making it a trilogy. LMFAO! Like that is going to happen. It's going to fail at the box office, but if it actually does well it will be because people went to make fun of it. I know I'll be going just to shout absurdities at the screen.
It also kind of sucks that I'll be going into the theater with such a biased opinion because I used to be a huge DBZ fan...I think I might have to watch the movie twice so I can see it as a hardcore fan and then as an unbiased critic just to be fair. After all, it is an interpretation of the series...however shitty it may be... :P
From the trailer it looks like itz going to FAIL horribly...
I wouldn't waste my money on it. Maybe watch it online...
